Hi Guys(and gals). Im looking to buy a Prowler here in the UK. Ive had a brief look at the site and it looks very healthy. Can you give me any advise about buying a Prowler? I currently own- Chrysler P/t Cruiser 2.0ltr sport. Toyota Supra mk 4 Triumph TR 8. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Dave. |

Dave, You'll likely get a lot of advice from this group. In general look for damage like any other car you would buy, look for chrome pitting on the inside of the wheels, check to see if the front ball joint recall was done. Drive the car: it likely will drive rough, but they all do that. look for signs of suspension problems like pulling to one side. See if the windows go up and down smoothly. Failing window regulators are common. Look to see if the battery cables are rubbing on the battery and have worn through. This could lead to a big repair bill. I am sure others will chime in. Good luck! Cheers. |

Not the ride of a Jaguar or Rolls,,,,,,,probably more like your Triumph TR,,,maybe alittle harsher? [EMT tires] If you are looking for a valvet smooth ride and lots of h/p,,,,,this will not be the car you are looking for. |

quote: A/C is absolutely right! The original EMTs give a pretty rough ride compared to NON-runflats. I recently opted for the Dunlop SP-9000's. I noticed the difference in the ride as soon as I got behind the wheel. Good luck on your purchase! Brian |
