Cruising on Woodward started big time this past Friday night. It will build each nigh through this week culminating with the actual event on Saturday as the largest one day car event in the World. A million plus of your closest personal friends show up and check out the 40,000 plus vehicles. There will be anything that you can imagine cruisin' the strip.

A number of your Prowler friends will be there enjoying their Prowler friends, cruising and making a few stops while they're in town. Again, thanks to Chrysler, Prowlers will have a great place to park and enjoy the event from the center of activities.

An early welcome to our Prowler friends that are attending. Thanks to you, Prowler will be represented.

CJ & Bob, we'll say a prayer to the weather Gods that they shine favorably upon you and your guests for the duration of this event.

Remember Karaoke, and whole shots next to cops? Great memories for certain!

Enjoy.

Ray, Rain, shine or power outage, it's Dream Cruise. You were there before the event started and we could play a little. It's "Raining Men" and some people don't listen to their radios that there's a police officer next to them. Go figure. You had to be there to believe it.

While its been a decade since I attended Woodward,,,when there I did notice an absence of foreign built cars cruising,,,,most likely due to the presence of the Big 3's home turf (Michigan). There were some VW buses and bugs, maybe a Datsun 240Z and a HoneyBee,,, but that was about it. No Kia's, no Mitsu's, no Mercedes, no BMW, no Porsche, no Toyotas, no Honda's,,etc etc etc.

Is it still pretty much that same way, or has the influx of foreign cars slipped into the biggest cruising event in the U.S. ?

If tonight is an indication, this is going to be a very busy year. Cars and people all along the road for several miles. Traffic backed up two miles heading south and a mile headed north and today's only Tuesday!

stormbringer.....Dream Cruise is not something you can describe to anyone and have them understand. You have to see it and experience in person!!!

The parking lots were packed full tonight!!!

Maybe I'll fly into Indy and take your Jeep SRT. We can pack it full of smokes, and sell at Woodward black market..

Alley Cat, that may pay for your trip. People from here purchase smokes in Ohio to save on state tax. Maybe Indiana has an advantage. They sell everything out of trunks here anyway.
