I have already posted this request in the event discussions but I also wanted to bring it to "Off Topic".

I am not happy with the way the pics turned out when I had to resize them. It seemed that when I had to shrink them down to the maximum posting size...they turned VERY grainy.

I tried downloading the image resizer that Mike K. so kindly placed on the attachment window...but I'm NOT running Windows XP so I couldn't use it. I had to use an older version of MGI Photosuite 8.1 . Too bad...the original sized pics came out beautiful!!!

If anyone has a suggestion on what I could use for a photo resizer...seeing as how I'm running Windows ME...please let me know. Thanks so much!!!

If anyone has ANY suggestions...please let me know. Please remember that I am running with Windows ME.

Brian,

Open a free acct at www.photobucket.com and hilite/copy IMG & paste here--they turn out great and automatically downsize to fit perfectly! I use them when the POA one doesn't wanna cooperate!

Thank you guys for your help but I would like to use a stand alone photo resizing program.

The two that both of you suggested are good but the drawback is that now possess a copy of my photo. I really didn't want that.

I will have to search around later on when I have a little more time to try and find one.

Thanks anyway Mickey...I was hoping for something a little newer than MS Paint.

I just may have to breakdown and go to Staples and BUY a program that will do what I want with my operating system.

Brian, I don't have a suggestion for a program but the down side to Photbucket is that you don't know how long they will keep you photo there. It could be months or weeks, but no one spells it out. Just a FYI

Do you have Photshop or Jasc Paint Shop? They can do it!

Yes...Mike you are correct...and Thank You!

The only problem with that program is that it cannot be used with my operating system...Windows ME. I know it's old...but I like it!!!

I couldn't agree more Judy! Once I download a pic to any online site...it's basically theirs!!!

I don't want pics of my family circulating around the internet.

I know nobody would want a pic of me...so that's not a big concern of mine. Except maybe Ed or A/C!
