I was wondering if anyone has had any luck removing the orange sidemarkers without damaging the paint? I'd like to put some of Jay Harris' cat shimmers there instead. P.S. Please have patience-I'm new at this Thanks, Kendra '00 Black |

Kendra - they are easy to remove. Just unbolt the side panels, disconnect the lights and remove the sidemarkers. The side markers are just a lens, the bulbs will stay inside the under the panels. I have the new TGF side panels (where there is no side marker) and I am going to extend the wiring down and light up the design on the panel. If I have read the previous threads correctly though - Jay's shimmer just applies right on top of the side marker. Correct me if I am wrong ------------------ |

just put on the shimmers on the side marker, did not have to remove them from the car. Good Luck regards Mike |
