I posted my problem last week in this post: http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/008062.html

The car began to miss again even more badly on Mon. So without waiting I took it stright to the dealer. They cant get it to miss again. The engine code was for multible engine misfire. They did check the fuel and fuel filter and said they were fine. I'm going to pick the car up today though. They are going to put a computer recorder in it. If it happens again I just hit the botton to save the info for them. I guess I should be happy they are offereing this to me, but I am supposed to take my Kat on a 3 hour each way trip this weekend. I may not want to take it now. If anyone might be able to shed some light on this I would appreciate it!! If it is electronic I could be in for a hide and seek mission. Thanks

From what little I know, if it wasn't fuel ralated, maybe it's the ECM....or some computer module that is faulty?

Good luck!

Thanks for the info... It really acts like its a fuel problem. The miss started again today after I picked it up, but it wasnt nearly as bad as before. It didnt even trip the check engine light. I did hit the recorder though. The only thing that makes me think it is computer related is that on Mon when it did it really badly, when I shut the car down and restarted it was gone. It came back in a min... but it went away right then. I guess I'll just have to see where it leads me. Thanks again!

Could be a poor electrical connection at the main injector harness, try the wiggle test on some of the vehicle wiring harness. If the misfire occurs while moving that area of the harness, you might be in the area.
Also check the grounds.

Thanks Guys for the info... I will check out the connections. The crank sensor... HHMM.. I had a SHO back in the day that had that problem. It would cut off all the way... but might be on to something there.

I did get the computer recorder to record two different misfires... but neither was as bad as the 1st two times. I filled up the tank today, and it hasnt done it since.
Hope we can get it.

Maybe you got yourself a tank full of bad gas..

Could be water in the tank.

Didn't think about that possibility until just now..

I don't know if you have done this yet, but you may want to check the battery connections to see if they may be loose. I know my car gets bitchy if they are even slightly loose. I was having intermittent problems for the past year until recently the positive side terminal completely corroded through and snapped off. I replaced both postive and negative terminals and the car has not had a single problem since.
