Hello, My driver side window would only go up and down periodically. I thought it was the regulator but it turned out to be the up and down switch . I took the switch apart and sanded the brass contacts with 600 sandpaper. One was visibly corroded. The switch is made to come apart. Easy fix.

Next time just try squirting WD40 into the switch. Works great.
