This is nothing like the Prowler fuel pump. For a few more dollars you can go to Auto Zone and buy a fuel pump assembly for a Towm and Country. It is part number C5341009 and will work in a Prowler if you exchange the top lid. Or if the blue seal that the pump plugs into is the the only issue you can exchange the inner lids. |

[/QUOTE] I know you checked on a 2001 Plymouth,,,,I just re-checked on a 2001 Chrysler and a 2000 Plymouth to be sure (same 3.5L and same fuel pump used. You will not have to get back to me,,,,I know it isn't the correct fuel pump. I had a total of seven fuel pumps replaced on three different Prowlers under warranty, and one additional one that I changed out the internal pump myself. That company may refund your $$$ when you discover it is not the right unit,,,,but you will probably have to pay the return $hipping cost?... Good luck,,,,, This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 08-17-2016 at 07:59 PM |

What exactly "blue top" part are you speaking about? Or,,are you speaking about the 'blue gasket part' on the underside of the top of the fuel pump assembly housing? This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 08-19-2016 at 12:05 PM |

"The one in the picture that shows blue. They called me and said it was broken/" Which picture are you referring to?? 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 ? On the top side of pump assembly OR the underside (internal area)? This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 08-19-2016 at 04:36 PM |

quote: Think you might want to check with Terry at JEFFERSON Auto Collision about a complete drop in fuel pump. Tom has been working to help owners out and told me he has a solution. |

W/C,,,,that is what I was going to tell Wayne after he would answer about the 'blue top' insufficient description... I'm thinking he meant the 'blue gasket' but he wasn't clear,,and then bailed off-line. http://www.jeffersonautocollision.com/prowler-parts/ Maybe he already spent the $1000 for the new complete unit from the Florida vendor? |
