Thinking of buying a trailer to tow luggage. Can any one give some ideas. Are the hitches removable, or should they be. How bad do the look when not towing the trailer? Comments would be appreciated. When two people go for a week-end think we need a little extra luggage then what fits in (can I say trunk?)....

The hitch is definitely not something you would ever remove, except in an emergency or when selling the car. I just put one on my car within the past couple of weeks. They are not glarinly bad looking from behind and you can buy a very nice looking hitch plug from MGW in Augusta, GA. try www.MGWLTD.com

I'm getting my hitch painted, the same color as my Prowler. Also the tongue of the trailer painted powder coated.

I have the hitch and I don't think they look bad. I do have the MGW hitch plug which looks GREAT!

Also, if you are looking for a little more room check out the Weekender from Real Rod. Very nice external trunk. Not real big but will hold a couple small duffle bags. Also it looks great on the car.

Steven R.

If you get a hitch, get it powdercoated, the stock paint is horrible. call Bob at RealRod's for the powdercoated hitch and Weekender.
