I will have a full itinerary posted tomorrow for the Friday activities of the Colorado event. Just to whet your appetite a bit..........here are some pictures of one of the roads we will be cruising that day..........Trail Ridge Road!!!

1 of us is ready...unfortunately and for a variety of reasons Karen can't make this trip, but has gone way out of her way to get me to go it alone (I'm sure for the right reasons.) Marc told me it is not ridiculous to consider going at this late hour, so provided I can get hotel reservations it is just a matter of figuring a departure time to head West. We couldn't do Louisville and the idea of missing Colorado was a killer. Obviously this will require some hustle, but I couldn't be happier to take the challenge. Having done Woodward 1, Grand Canyon/route 66, Crazyhorse/Deadwood and Woodward 2, these events are highly additive, and Colorado will be a blast! CJ, thanks for the latest batch of pics! This road takes us from the western side of the Rockies over the top (Continental Divide) and down the Eastern side! Too awesome for words...have to see it for yourself!!! |

Paul, I would love to bring 1 of the boys, but they are a big part of the reason Karen can't make it. I will come with video camera in hand, and if the cars look good enough, the people fun enough and the scenery spectacular enough (like any of those would be a problem) there just might be a commemorative video after Colorado. A/C, all of what you say is true but your selfless expression of friendship, by covering the hotel bill for me, really made the difference. Ya know we still could do like last time, feed Mohawk Moneyhan a couple extra cocktails Sunday night and hope he doesn't notice the additional room charge on his bill at check out. ------------------ |

Mike - chatted with Prowler Keith last night,,,,,you got his room at Westminister, and since his credit card # is on file there, he said for you and I to have a good time "on him". What a guy! We still might get Ed skunk-eyed, and see what charges we can add to his room bill. I've never been thrown out of a Westin,,,,,,,,yet. |

That Keith is a heck of nice guy. If we bargain hunt, we can show him how much he really could get with the Queens money. I do remember from Crazyhorse that they had to remove the "honor bar" from Keiths' room..so it still would be a good idea to get a copy of Eds' room key. ------------------ |

Fisch - I believe the 2003 event will be in the SMOKY Mts of Tenn. ? Contact Ed M. It has been said that he is the mastermind of the national 2003 event. No date set,,,,,may need another vote of associates for the date. Good, I can influence another voting scam like before

Sasquatch, it just so happens that I do like big band music and have quite a few CD's of Benny. I also like BlueGrass but not country but mostly old rock n roll. We went to see MOMMA MIA tonight. (That is the play based upon ABBA songs.) Sandy loved it and I thought it was pretty darn good. I am NOT in charge of the Smoky Mtns. event. Laddie is. I am helping. It should be pretty well attended since a lot of East Coasters will be getting their very first shot at a big event, discounting Marty's fine job the other week.
