Itinerary*********************** In an effort to make this event more participant-friendly for the folks in the drivers seat as well as the passenger's seat. I have come up with the following plan. Submitted for your approval. Thursday arrivals: Two Katavans will arrive at the Convention Center for regisitration between 10AM and 11AM After we register we will take an eight mile drive to Assateague Island. For those that don't know this area, it is a barrier Island that is home to over 150 wild horses. We will be having a champagne brunch(lite fare) on a large dune overlooking the Atlantic. When we leave there we will be heading back to the Dunes Manor Hotel for check-in. I have reserved the Verrazno Room for us from 7:30pm to 10pm for a one of a kind Posse Party. Pls be there at 7:30 you won't want to miss this!! It is located on what I call the Grand Piano level. Just like all of your rooms it is ocean front as well. Friday morning we will gather for the Boardwalk parade, that begins at 8am. The entrance is just one block from our Hotel. The car show is located at the other end of the boardwalk in the inlet parking lot. It is over at 5pm. Friday Night is Ladies Choice, so put your heads together Ladies and let us know what you want to do. Saturday morning the parade is limited and cars are chosen by show officials. The show concludes at 5pm. Saturday night we will dine at Seacrets. ******************************************************* ******************************************************* ********************************************************* Endless Summer Car show in Ocean City MD is Oct 3-7. Registration is limited to 1500 cars. One of the highlights is the parade each morning that runs the entire length of the boardwalk down to the inlet parking. Besides trophies for cars, they give out three car club award. The Hotel is the Dunes Manor which is located right where the cars are loaded onto the boardwalk. All rooms are ocean front and very nice. We had a great start of the season at Wildwood and this would be a great way to conclude the season. I need to know as soon as possible if you are interested in this as I will be calling the Hotel tomorrow. Thanks! ----------------NEW INFO--05/24/07------------------------- The Dunes Manor is holding '15' rooms for us!!! You can make your reservations tomorrow beginning at 12 noon 5/25/07 Rates- Thur 10/04/07 $79. .......Fri & Sat $99. Dunes Manor phone # 800-523-2888 Our rooms are being held under the name, POA East Coast Posse. Please post here after you have made your reservations so I can keep a count of where we are. Right now all the rooms that can be blocked are already blocked. They are trying to see if some of the clubs overblocked and would be willing to give up some. They will be calling me Monday to let me know. They said it looks favorable, if not, the good news is that they have rooms available but not at group rates. Both rates are reasonable for this particular hotel. I'm working hard at getting this Hotel as it is very convenient for our needs. Monday is my Birthday and I will not be near a PC, so I'll let you know on Tuesday. I was going to block 20 rooms but it doesn't look like we will need that many. Thanks again to those that responded, it makes things easier

I spoke with the Dunes Manor today and even though there are no rooms available for blocking, they are going to give us the group rate price. The person in charge of general reservations and the Director of Group Sales are going to conference call me tomorrow with details, at which point I will put the link here tomorrow. So stay tuned and be ready. On a side-note, another car club called them today willing to pay the full price but were denied because the rooms are for us. It's been a great experience working with these folks. P.S. Thanks for all the Birthday wishes!
