pgpd POA Site Supporter Prowler Junkie From:Arnold, MD, USA Registered: Jun 2006 Admin Use	posted 05-27-2007 08:57 PM Myself,Prowlyn and Support Vehicle are looking into putting a road trip together for the weekend of 07/21/07 (Sat, Sun?). This trip will be to Long Island, NY toward the East End. It will include a trip out to the Hamptons, Montauk Point, Wineries (Taste testing for passengers only ) and whatever else we put together. Before we go through the task of putting together this trip, I would like to get a feel on who or how many would be interested??? I am going to have to make arrangements based on the numbers. There is nothing greater than pulling into these small towns and villages with the Prowler, parking next to the Ferrari's & Lambos and seeing the Prowler, as usual get all the attention. I hope we can get a good turn out for this, I think we will be able to make it a lot of fun as usual. Endlees Summer is too far away for me and I think it will be a nice warm up for Woodward. Please respond ********************** HOTEL INFO******************** The hotel we have selected is the "Hampton Inn' in Islandia, NY. We have arranged for a group rate discount of $109.00 per night. The rooms are held under the usual "POA East Coast Posse" name. Kelly Cerciello has been the contact on the room sales. The number for the hotel is 631-234-0400. As of now we have (10) rooms blocked, if more are needed we have a Plan B. We have planned for a Fri, Sat, Sun event (07/20-07/22). Arrive Fri and do a nice local run. Sat, head east toward Montaunk Point by way of the Hamptons and leave early enough on Sun to beat the fine NY traffic. If anyone has anything to add please post or PM me.
