Those that attended the Maintenance Weekend this year got to visit Fort McHenry and some wished that they would have been able to see the tall ships that were coming into Baltimore to mark the anniversary of the War Of 1812. Well, even though the timing wasn't right to see the ships there will still be an opportunity to see them again. The Battle of Baltimore took place in September of 1814. In September of 2014 the ships will return, a reenactment of the Battle will take place and a whole week of festivities will be going on. I am trying to gauge an interest in planning an event around this celebration. If there is enough interest I will move forward to help plan this event.
