This is not written in stone. Changes will possibly be made once we get rolling and others join us. If someone has a different route or something they want to see, we will detour to see it.
Leave Cincinnati by way of Rt. 32 to Athens, OH and onto US 50 through Parkersburg, W.Va and onto Clarksburg, W.Va. Then north on I-79 for about 30 miles to Morgantown, WV, then East on US 40/I-68 into MD to exit 14. North on PA 219 to Shanksville, PA and the Flight 93 Memorial. After
that we will continue north to Johnstown, PA to sightsee and ride the historic automobile incline.
We will resume travelling north on 219 and then turn East on Rt 22 toward Altoona. We will then take the scenic route 45 northeast past State College, PA to Danville, PA.
Mike & Karen Gatlin will be meeting us somewhere near here.
We will head north toward Scranton but not sure of the route until we get there. We will then take Rt 171 north into N Y state and onto Cooperstown.
From Cooperstown head east to NY Rte 7 to VT Rte 9, Bennington, VT. Head north on Rte 100 up to Plymouth, Vt (quintessential Verrrrrr-mont) great handling roads, Rte 4 to White River Jct and Lebanon, NH. Rte 118 to Rte 25 to 3 North to Woodstock/Lincoln, NH. Good overnight spot, plenty of lodgings and restaurants.
Kancamaugus Highway to North Conway, NH - great views of the Presidential Range - then Rte 112 to Casco, Me, Rte 302 to Black Smith's Winery for a very informal tour, continue on Rte 302 along top of Sebaco Lake. Pick up Rte 1 through Portland, Freeport, Rockland, Boothbay Harbor. Maybe put in for the night.
Head for Bar Harbor, Acadia Nat Park. Maybe full day, or continue after day toward Calais/St Stephen.

I will add a little more to it and possibly insert some into the middle of it.
We plan on leaving here on Friday and will go to the Flight 93 Memorial and Johnstown on Saturday. Cooperstown will probably be Sunday or possibly Monday or arriving late in Cooperstown on Sunday and staying nearby to look around on Monday.
Again, none of it is written in stone. Flexibility is the key.
