Delphi just announced their ALL NEW GPS Navigation System that is compact enough for a Prowler installation...

This ALL NEW GPS Navigation System will be available the first week of September 2003. About all the information I have right now is that it will be less than $900... it is transportable from vehicle to vehicle... it comes complete with the entire US mapped on CDs, including Hawaii.

It is our intentions to convert / adapt this unit for Prowler "specific" installations if custom plugs or brackets can enhance the Prowlin' & Navigatin' experience. I will post more on that after we receive our first unit.

I have seen the unit and with the advance information that I have received from the manufacturer I can answer "most" of your questions if you care to call me @ 800 669 3540.

FYI... the SKYFi XM Satellite Radio System we convert specifically for the Prowler is also a DELPHI product.

Will it be possible to mount BOTH the XM radio AND the Delphi GPS unit in the Prowler?

Where might they be placed to make both accessible?

YES... but I have no pictures until the actual production product arrives. I am cautious to start something with a "pre-production" sample as these things sometimes change. This "dual" application will require a special custom mount... most likely in "Billet" for a truly Custom fit and finish.

Expect some pictures middle of September if delivery for the Navigation System is on time from DELPHI.
