Does anyone have the Vin and Von number of this BlackTie? It may be the 163rd and last car that Dr. Ru signed, but it may not be the last BlackTie off the production line. It still is significant that it's number 163 though. CJ may know the answer to this one! ------------------ |

UPDATE... I understand that it is indeed the 163rd by Dr Ru and is the last one that he did. However it is not the last Black Tie built. It is around 150 of 163. Dr Ru striped the cars in batches and did not stripe the cars until they were ready to ship. Ed, I would have to agree about the auction ending time. ------------------ |

This thread reminded me of a story, which is true. I collect baseball cards and I trade regularly with a fellow in Michigan. This year he got a card numbered 2003 out of 2002 made. I told him it was valuable, to hold onto it and send a note to Beckett,which publishes the price guide every month. So far, he has not had a response. If someone gets Black Tie 164, that will be valuable. ------------------ |

Cliff, we do not have big game lotto here. I think that is what we are getting, starting next month. KY and IND both have Powerball and I am 5 minutes and 20 minutes away from them. We are joining an existing multi state game in about 4 weeks but I am not sure of the name of it. If I would hit that 325 Mil. I could afford a toupe like Sasquatch's. ------------------ |

I passed up buying this exact Prowler (Black Tie #163) back in November of 2000 and since then I've seen it pop up on e-bay about a dozen times at various cities through out Missouri. I, personally, don't understand how the same car could go through so many dealers and private sellers over the course of a year and a half unless theres something wrong. Anyway, just thought I'd share. ------------------ |

BTW, I e-mailed the seller, he told me he was the original owner and it was him who had posted it in e-bay and at various dealers for sale before, not multiple owners. ------------------ |
