My son just finished a frame up restoration of a 72 Hurst Pace Car and sent me pictures. They are a little too large to post and I don't know how to resize them. Anyone help me out on this.
He wants to sell the car but did not ask me to post it here. I just thought I would post some pics in case someone knows someone who knows someone who might know someone who is looking for one. The guy he bought the car from may buy it back from him. The guy started the restoration and bought a business and quit working on the car 7 years ago. My son bought it and it was pretty rough but it looks great now.
He is asking $ 28,500, I think.
How do I resize a photo from email, now in my computer?

ED, I loaded some oversize pics and they were resized automatically from 408kb to 73kb. Give a try and if not, send them to me and I'll resize for you. Send to me to post for you if you want.

Ed,
I use (and love) the Microsoft Image Resizer. If you run XP it makes the operation a single right click. Go to:

MS XP Power Toys

and look for Imageresizer.exe on the right hand side. Download and install this great tool. When done, you can select multiple pictures and right click one and they can all be reduced with no perceptible loss in image quality when viewed on a PC. You can't use them to make good prints at the photo lab, but it is great for posting here, eBay, etc. If you use it and select "large", they look great and view well most anywhere.

Al, thanks for the offer.
I tried what Kevin suggested and hopefully it will work.

Kevin, thanks a lot. It took me a few tries but I finally figured it out. I am not too swift in the computer department. I appreciate your help.

Ed,
Great looking car. I hope your son can find the right buyer. I'm glad the resizer worked for you. It's a great tool to have.

Hopefully we can meet soon. I used to live in Loveland when I was working for GE. Now I'm in Columbus and get to Cinci somewhat regularly. Maybe I'll bring my Kat on a sales call and I'll stop by for a quick visit.

Cheers,
Kevin

Kevin, try to make it a sales call LATE in day. lol.
On Friday evening there is a great car show in Milford, just outside (east of) the I-275 belt where the by-pass and the regular road meet again. (NOT the U.S. 50 exit) There are always over 200 cars. If you know in advance that you will be down here I will try to round up 10 or so cats.
The re-sizer does work really easy. I don't think he is in a big rush to get rid of it, other than he is out of garage space, like all of us.

Ed, thanks for the heads-up on the Milford car show. Unfortunately I am committed already (assuming you mean today the 18th). More unfortunately the next few Fridays look no better. If there is another in late July or August, that sounds like a god idea. Otherwise I hope to see you at Woodward.

Kevin
