FS- A rare TGF hardtop, black in color that will contrast well with all Prowler colors. The top is in excellent condition and has a new black headliner that was recently installed. The price is $2500.00 FIRM. Due to the difficulty and cost of shipping, the buyer will have to pick up the top at my location in Florida. Take your Kat out for a road trip and return with a new hardtop! (I would really appreciate someone with the authority to delete this entire post as I don't want my name associated with what my original post degenerated into. Thank you in advance.) Looks like it sold congrats golfy : I just wanted to point something out on previous discussions... in a months time I've seen 3 tgf hardtops sell here on the poa I still say a used tgf painted outsells a new p.s hardtop all day everyday. P.s |

My comparison is used TGF versus new p.s I believe a used tgf top painted outsells a new p.s hardtop straight from the p.s.....just a hunch of mine could be wrong  because I don't know how many new ones they sold at nearly 4k shipped. |

You would be stunned how many members here have bought their tops from the P/S. They haven't made TGF tops in a while and there not getting them from Wal Mart. TGF don't come up that often usually so supply and demand is the question and P/S is where the majority of members getting them for years has been P/S. 4 grand no. More like 3400 shipped. Hey if you're a TGF fan that's good but my point was others may have a different take. Like me. |

I can get them painted all day long for 300. Oh I guess the colors on the TGF tops change automatically to match one's particular car color. You can make up whatever facts you like to make your argument work if it makes you feel better. Point is most likely they'll need paint too and your bound to have scratches and chips used but that won't work for your argument I guess. |

I bought a Black TGF Gen 2 hardtop for my Silver Prowler and it matches just fine.....no repainting necessary.   |

I've had my top for 4 years and am still happy w/it. I have told many members who asked me over the years that I think it's one of the few good buys at P/S and know many have bought with total satisfaction. Same old story. If you want a top and none are advertised used there's only 1 other option. |

Never said you said. I said it was inferred. Yes you would do it all over again providing you would be lucky enough to find one in your color. That's not always the case. There are dry spells where you never see them. My opinion is not changed as well. |
