It would be great if one of the Florida Prowler folks could look at one in person. It appears that the vendor is in Spring Hill FL, north of Tampa

The manufacturer's website says they are pure stainless steel and will fit over the exsisting arms. Looks like a great deal but alot of ebay items are too good to be true.

I am only nervous because he is selling a $10 item for $90...I dont care how much cutting it took that is still way too much..JMO

So is this a $400 dollar mod worth about $50??

Also on the top bar I dont like the fact that you can see the rear stock a-arm bar under the chrome.

Look at what else this guy is selling- the "Prowler Chrome Grill Treatment". You know, the stick-on chrome edge guard stuff pre cut, for ONLY $89.95 Buy It Now, starting bid $79.95. And, as some of you know, I will buy almost anything!!

Has anyone brought anything from this guy ? Or does anyone know anything about him ? http://www.theprowlerstore.com/
I like these A-Arm covers, and I'm seriously thinking of taking the jump, just hate to be first.

Jesse,

I just missed you and Ray at the show today.

Well like I said there is one born every minute! As soon as I ordered the Grill from Chris, I recieved a E-Mail from this company http://www.aceautogrill.com/chrysler_prowler.htm
for what it appears to be the same kit for $40, I went ahead and ordered it. The only problem with Ace Auto Grill is they have no return policy But Chris does. So we will see who has the best one. I'll keep everyone informed. I also relized this message is in the wrong Topic so I will copy it to the Topic of Chrome Grill.

Welcome Chris. Many of us look forward to reading posts from some POA people who order your suspension covers. Any additional pictures you may have - especially the ends would be nice.

The pics on yhour website make it hard to see the areas closest to the body of the car and also closest to the wheel.

Yes, that is why I took so many pictures, I just couldn't get a clear close-up of either end because of the shadows and lighting. I will try and get some more pictures this weekend of the ends by experimenting with different lighting.
Thanks for your input.
Best Wishes!
Chris

Chris - do the wheels have to be removed to install the a-arm pieces?

OR,,,,,does adhesive two sided tape or bend over tabs keep the covers in place?

Looking forward to the better quality pictures,,,too many shadows in the website photos.

BTW - WELCOME to the POA!
