A Night at the Races at Kansas Speedway
2003-09-06
Thanks to a lead from CJ, the Kansas City Prowlers were invited to "A Night at the Races at Kansas Speedway, benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City" on September 6, 2003. It was a great event that raised a tremendous amount of money for a truly great charity organization. My thanks to CJ for the lead and Micheal Lawrence (Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City) for organizing a fantastic event.
As part of the event, Tim Galyean took professional photos of all the "exotic" cars that attended. There were Corvettes, vintage Mustangs, Ferraris, Vipers, and of course Prowlers. The raceway allowed us to enter "Victory Lane" on the speedway for a rare photo opportunity.

John and Mary were the ONLY other Prowler owners that attended. Here they are in Victory Lane. Nice color, huh?!

In addition to our Prowlers, other cars were invited like this great example of a classic 56 Corvette.
In addition to our Prowlers, other cars like this excellent classic 65 Shelby Mustang were invited.
Have a look at this signature on the dash of a classic 65 Shelby Mustang.
