Ok today we got our first box of two ball joints and four nuts, have not got the recall notice yet here at the dealership and dont have the tool yet.

I had the parts manager order five more sets and ten center caps so I can replace any broken while doing the job.

May 10th we are doing a tech session here at our store along with a car show for Prowlers and PT Cruisers free hot dogs, sodas, drawings give aways live music and other things. I plan on haveing my Prowler tech doing a ball joint recall so that all the owners that can make it can watch this operation providing I have all the tool and items needed to do the job.

so thats the latest from the NorCal part of the country

Looks like you're ahead of the game. Being the only Prowler in town, or anywhere within 100 miles, I hope the local dealer here doesn't drag his feet on this.

Duane:

I'm in the same boat, but my dealer has been really great. They haven't gotten many details from DC, but I'm hoping it's in the next few weeks. I'd really like them to do the recall and install the Borla exhaust at the same visit.

Not Prowling weather here yet, but we're getting close!

Kevin

P.S. Great advice on the center caps, Curtis. I'm going to ask my dealer to order extras.
