Keep me imformed, please. I'll install chrome or polished knuckles at that time if there's a recall, the joint has to come out anyway.

My ball joints have never failed and I have not been killed. That means that this Prowler problem is B.S. and does not exist !

Just kidding...thanks for the inform Kozican...

Hey Todd,
Let's hope not. Follow Chromer once on some mountian roads and very quickly you learn not only the cornering capabilities of the car but what the rev limiter sounds like.

Thanks for the info. I talked to a guy yesterday that got rid of his first prowler because the front end never seemed right.

Thanks Very Much! However, it does not surprise me that a "Ford" balljoint would fail. Right? Even if it is installed on a Chrysler...!!

Neal: If they are only going to replace the ball jts on a
Prowler that have play in them we are in trouble. The
problem that I have seen with prowler jts is that they get
to tight making them bind up and in some cases break. I said in previous posts you can't check these joints in the normal way and find the problem!!
Hope this helps!! Willard SEPA

Kozican

THANKS for this vital update!

willard: I am assuming a recall affects every part whether every individual part works fine or not. A recall is a blanket kind of thing. Once Chrysler calls an official recall on this, I assume it is for every Prowler, otherwise think of the possible lawsuits....
