What would be your replacement car?

Keeping in mind spending no more than $65000.00.

Any car, Luxury or Sports, New or used?

And not buying another Prowler.

What could replace a Prowler? Any other car would be just a car. All cars come with 4 wheels, a radio, a steering wheel, an engine, a gas tank.... but a Prowler has the look! If I couldn't drive my Prowler, I would just stick with my Dakota or my Durango.

Testarossa !
Early year w/ single flying mirror.
I have found them in the high 50's to 60's.
I have always loved the way that car looks.

1970 convertible GS Stage I 455 with bucket seats PLUS a 1969 hemi Roadrunner hardtop with Air Grabber hood. Together, the two are worth around $55,000 to $65,000 in very good condition.

No question about it here.... V I P E R .....have had 3 and they are everything you would ever expect them to be...unbelievable power, great looks and they get nearly as much attention as a Kat...........and they are made in Detroit USA (very important to me)..........currently have a 2000 GTS gray/silver stripes....several modifications...check with Woodhouse Chrysler, Blair Ne....talk with Bill Pemberton and tell him what you want...just had my 4th car delivered from them yesterday (another Prowler) great prices and great service...I also just took delivery of another Vette CV a couple of weeks ago...2001 Millennium Yellow, also a very nice car...can't say enough good things about the new Vettes either....they are just a little more common on the streets than a Viper.... I would be looking for a 1995 red Viper rt/10 or a 1997 Viper coupe, blue with white stripes. Four years from now when the Prowler is paid off I hope to be doing just that! We will never get rid of the Prowler though unless we have to.

One of the things that attracted me to the Prowler is that I have always loved Hot Rods especially Deuce Roadsters and Coupes. With the Prowler I have the best of both worlds. If the Prowler had not been avialable I would have definitely purchased a Hot Rod. Before my second marriage I had a 29 Ford 5 Window Coupe with a 289 Mustang. Looked very similar to the Grafitti Coupe. Prowler rules. My future love is the PT Cruiser Conv if DC makes it. But in addition to, not in place of my Cat

For an everyday car I'd definitely get the new Lexus SC 430. I saw one at a dealer for the first time, and it looks incredible, much better than what it looks like in the pictures. For a toy, I'd look for a slightly used Hennessey modified or Doug Levin Supercharged Viper RT/10.

I'd get the 2001 BMW M3. No need for any mods and has 333 HP already.

Since I have sworn off buying anything built by Daimler, it would have to be a Superbird, numbers matching, any engine.

The new Lexus SC430 Convertible. It doesn't have the look, but it sure has the quality. I'm concerned about what I read here, like ball joints falling out, hoods that won't stay open, broken top latches, limp mode transmission problems and etc. And these problems are occurring on new low mileage cars. I'm worried!!

Sell the prowler?
....doubt I would do it, but if I did, would not get a replacement car.

I would drive my SS Camaro Convertible (fun car) and get the Rotorway Helicopter, as my new toy.

I think I would have to go with a 68 super stock hemi barracuda or dart. always a mopar fan and even more of a hemi fan. fastest quater maile production cars ever made. thats why they are they only ones legal in SS/AA in drag racing.

At this time... I simply would not have a car toy at all. There is only one I have ever really wanted and now I own 3. Anything else that remotely interestes me certainly starts at around 5 times the price.

The same car I am considering purchasing although I think between my daily ride, Prowler and Harley I cant even keep up with the cleaning, the main thing holding me back Oddly enough, it is also a Plymouth.
