The May 2003 Consumer Reports magazine mentions the recall:

'97-02 Chrysler and Plymouth Prowler

Suspension components could seperate as a result of corrosion and , possibly, cause loss of steering control.

Models: 11,655 cars made 1/97 to 3/02

What to do: Have dealer replace lower ball joint on front suspension.
