Took Kat in on Apr. 4 for oil change and was told the ball joints had arrived, so they replaced them Friday. No greese zerts, can't tell any improvement but it did take them longer to change. Tech said since they were the same as the Intrepid and 300M he would have no problem. Boy was he wrong, Took him 3.5 hours, and said it was really different, but would go faster on next car. So they are getting the new parts in.

I got my recall notice yesterday and had the work done today. Mine was the first one the dealer had done. They didn't seem to know very much about it. The notice says it will take about 2 hours depending on scheduling. They got started on mine as soon as I got it to them and it took over 3 1/2 hours, so be prepared for a longer than expected repair time. They only replaced the ball joint. They did not replace the control arm so, Smitty, relax. You won't have to do any re-chroming afterall...
