He said, that the only thing he saw that was different, was that a washer had been added. He said that two rubber parts now squeeze down against this washer. He could see no difference in the ball joint itself. The job took about two hours and there was no damage to the lower arms or the center caps. The alignment also was not changed.

I took a copy of the thread with me and stood there while he checked. They were fine. Uppers and lowers were torqued properly, and no wear noted on the knuckles. Front shocks were leaking, so two were ordered. Whole process took 3 hours.
