Dropped off both katts, but they only got one finished. I had them so paranoid when I told them Nooooo scratches would be accepted and made them do a damage inspection before the work started. I dropped off some copies of many of your posts on the subject, thanks to all. It took them 4 hours to do my wife's and they would only let the prowler tech work on them. The original plan of both katts done at same time one by a regular tech and one by the prowler tech fell by the wayside. Even with all the extra care there were two small scratches/scuffs on the inside of the spindles about 1/2" long, same place on both spindles. They were not really noticable and were more like scuff marks removing the oxidation layer. Not a single nick anywhere else. Mine is in for check engine light also and will have to wait until Monday, but all in all a great job by Premier Chrysler in Bremerton.

Second Katt done, no damage at all. I've read most of the postings R/T the ball joints and copied the worst. I gave the copies to the service manager and it seems to have helped. Many thanks to all that have posted problems/suggestions. I also dropped off the info posted about the over torque of the upper joints, which he has not heard of yet and is now looking into it. I have to make a correction to the 1st Katt done. After it was washed we noted small scratches on the inside edge of both front fenders, like they had been layed down on that side. I did not realize they needed to come off. Dealer is going to take care of it no problem. Also the typical broked tabs on two of the caps. If your located in the Pacific NorthWet (Washington), I recommend Premier Chrysler in Bremerton for service, but stay away from their sales staff.
