Just did our first recall at our dealership and are now waiting for a new lower control arm. Let your Prowler tech know to pull out the large wire snap ring from the old ball joint boot before pressing it out. Our 20plus year tech followed the directions exactly but the snap ring went into the arm with the tool. Stuck real good!! The directions don't mention this but a little heads up may prevent another disaster.

This has been discussed several times on this site. Removing the ring makes all of the difference in doing the job right.
