I just had my Ball Joints today in Connecticut and look...
Lucky me! The dealer said when I go back to have my fuel sending unit installed they will look, and order if needed new lower arms....Just another Prowler Day... Hope you have a great weekend, Chris

Make sure you get your new ball joints with those new arms. You might tell them, too, that if they remove the boot retaining clip first, this will be less likely to happen when removing the old ball joints. If you look thru some of the threads, you will find a better description of this procedure. Good luck, and don't take no for an answer.------------------ Mickey 1997 Plymouth Prowler #156 Mopar front splash guards Real Rod stainless steel transmission cooler cover 1992 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE Longhorn scratches Boomerschlobber

The funny thing is, I printed out the directions and photos of other GOOD installs. The Service guy handed them back to me and said we don't need these! See what cockiness does... Chris

I had just put in a post "they hurt my cat", and ours looks even worse than yours. It is the tools they use, I think. We have several places that the texturing is smooth and many stratches.

Had mine replaced this last Tues. My a-arms are gouged also! I gave them a ton of info. from the Club I downloaded. It's going to be hit & miss with these dealerships. I had my work done in Grand Haven Mi.

Maybe it's the angle of the picture, but is that a big chunk of your A-arm broken off on the right side? This message has been edited by GRROWL on 06-08-2003 at 03:58 PM

You made me look at the arms, its just the angle of the picture, but it does look like a chunk is taken out doesn't it.

Where did you get it done??I had mine done at Bran-Haven Chrysler in Branford. Thats pretty close to you. They couldn't have been nicer. Guy who did mine just had operation on his heart, and was just back to work a few weeks.(when i had mine done in April) The owner also has a Kat and he supervised. If it was there i'm surprised. They took there time and were careful..------------------
