After reading through all these nightmare jobs that have been done, I was reluctant to have this recall performed.

I am trusting in the outstanding service I have had in the past to continue for this work too.

The only person I know of for sure that uses my same dealership (Fillmore Family Motors) is Todd. I haven't seen him post that he has had his done yet.

I guess I will find out...

Kala - they have the tools in now. I spoke with Ross last week (Brian is on vacation) and made my appointment for today (had to drop it off yesterday afternoon though).

I will let you know how it goes.

BTW - is that you I see all the time toolin' down the 126? I keep seeing this purple kat on Friday evenings (mostly) going East. I keep thinking it must be you but I am just not sure. I always see the kat as it is passing Piru (hmmmmmmmmmmmm, I wonder why )

Cliff
Im not sure if its me!

LOL... I have been in Piru recently, went to the old B&B there for dinner.
I do drive the 126 a lot but usually in my truck, going to our rental props in the AV.
My Kat is basically stock and has a plate that says KUL KATT
has a whaletail design. Stop me next time or call my cell 231-8333, I brake for Prowler owners!

Kala - I will do that. The one I have seen though looks stock. I did not notice any whaletale design but it has always been going the other way

Got my kat back tonight. There is a small nick in the lower A arm but I wouldn't have noticed it if I didn't know where to look (seeing others pictures).

Mine was the first one Bart did so he has had his practice

A side note - they have a black Crossfire there!!! I was impressed with the interior and it looks good in black. I thought it looked much better than at the autoshow. It was very comfortable to sit in... would I trade my prowler for it... not in a hot second

Do you think a little pipe wrap or something to protect the A arm would help? Nothing that would get in the way, just a covering...

When are you and Gina home??? We have to go ride one of our horses for the first time soon. (Trainer says shes ready... Lets hope so Im thinking about driving our Kat then.
Maybe we could meet on the way back or something.

I think I would have to pass on the Crossfire too...

Kala,

Pipe wrap might do the trick. If you want to drop by, I can show you where the best place to wrap would be. I think duct tape would work better but then you have the residue of the tape afterwords. Maybe pipe wrap and then duct tape on top of that?

It is really hit and miss with us. We have so many things going on with the boys and stuff. Next time you are going through our area, give me a ring. My cell is 276-0041 and home is 521-1727. I usually get home from work around 4pm.
