I have been trying to get my recall job done since April when i was notified by D.C. My dealer in northern New Jersey who is one of the states biggest deales keeps telling me they can't do the job because they don't have the special tools. I don't get it,why don't they have the tools, i can't get an answer from them. Does anyone know of a good dealer where they have done the recall, in Northern New jersey? At this rate i'll never get to use the car this summer!! If someone can help that would be great. Thanks

Did they order the proper tools? They are responsible for purchasing these tools.

Matt B (Fairfield NJ) had his done at Wayne Dodge. Call first to make sure that the dealer has the parts in stock.

I had mine done at Freehold Chrysler on Rt. 9 down here in Central Jersey.
Hope this helps.

Matt had his done at Wayne Dodge. You'd have to call first to make sure they have the parts and schedule it.

I took my car to one dealer (who has a Prowler for sale), and I asked if they would do the repair.

They told me that they would not purchase the tool to do the repair, because there was no justification to buy the tool to do just one job.

I am currenlty probing to find a dealer who has performed the recall. I would prefer to have a tech who has already done this at least once to do mine anyway.

All times are CT (US)
