We lost both of our center caps to a clumsy mechanic (they lied about breaking one--put it on & hoped it would stay but fell off on the trip home) -- left greasy handprints all over the front end & yes, we've got the dreaded scratches (more like gouges). The dealership seems to just not care. We bought 6 new Chrysler/Dodge vehicles from this dealership since 2001! Their lousy service dept has sent the hubby to Ford!

My question is this.....has anyone received any compensation for the damage done to their car (scratches)during the recall work?

It's very unfortunate that you received some damage during the recall. However, don't judge all Chrysler dealers on one who was careless and uncaring. Have you pursued a resolution with the dealer? At this point, I would not be talking to the Service Manager, the Dealer Principle is the one I would be having a conversation with, especially if you have purchased that many vehicles from them.

We did send a letter to the owner of the dealership. No response. Any other SW Wisconsin owners out there able to recommend a good service dept. for our kitty?

Just got the balljoints done on my Red '99 and had a great experience at Maxwell Dodge in Austin, TX. David Weaver is the service manager and takes care of all the Vipers and Prowlers in the silicon prarie. In at 7am and out by 9am, no scratches, no damage, just great service and helpful, interested attitude. Thank you DC and thank you Dave.
