took the cat to the dealer today and they said that the battery seems ok. we had a problem with it noit taking a charge and it still dosen't he told us when the cat sits for a while to puul the fuse for the interior out cause this turns the computers off. the battery still will not get full and the voltamoter only reeds 13. so we are going to switch batterys with another car and see what happens. I know the battery isn;t any good but I can't convince the service department that it is. silver 2000 |

Hemi: Not happy with dealership, try another C/P dealer, or just call D/C 800 customer service number and talk to someone about your problem. That should get fast results. Good luck, Larry |

coolhemi, My prowler is being replaced under lemon Laws I hope. I have had this problem for about 6 months. It will sit overnight and be dead in the morning. They told us to pull fuses and even put a battery disconnector on to help with problem. A new car should work just fine. A switch on the titles is the only switch I want. |

Coolhemi & Wade In my opinion it is absolutely ridiculous Like Larry said , I would call DC and tell them what the dealer told you to do to correct the problem. Hope this dealer is not a Five Star Dealer. The lemon law does work. Recently Ford Motor Company purchased my 1998 Ford F150 Lariat 4x4 back from me and provided me with a 2001 F150 Lariat 4x4. The process went pretty smooth. I think you have to have a problem that has been addressed unsucessfully at least three times with no cure. You still have to push the issue. These people are in business to make money and will not roll over easily. Just for your information. I did have a wiring harness problem with my 2000 yellow cat. The dealer was able to fix it. But a harness problem can be a real challenge to anybody. They were originally talking about replacing the entire harness. I didn't want that because they have to diassemble the car to replace it. Fortunately they were able to find my problem. Maybe this is your problem too. Anyway, good luck and stand your ground on all warranty issues. Consumer Protection laws were designed to protect us in situations like this. Terry Blake |
