HiHoSilver Too many toys, bought a new home and can't fit the prowler and my other street rods in the garages. This is a tough decision. I absolutly love the car and hate to sell it. It was very hard to find yellow. This car is brand new and absolutly flawless. You couldn't do better purchasing new from a dealer. I guess the best thing to do is move it quickly and get it over with. If you Know anyone that is looking for one send them my way. Thanks for your interest !!!

I have a deposit on I think the last 2000 to show up at a dealer. At this point, I was thinking of cancelling and holding out for a 2001. But if the price is right, I could buy yours instead. Check your mail. |

Prowling / Joe Lackey Thats not at all what I told you in our discussions. Also you are not purchasing your car $8,000 less than I am asking. You said you are paying MSRP $43,725. I doubt if you can find any dealer that does not charge you sales tax, luxury tax, Doc charges plates and license, not to mention the shipping charge you said you will incur. If you find one of these dealers please let the rest of the P.O.L. people in on your secret so they can use the same dealer. You should be a little more honest with your postings and tell the whole truth. Terry |

If I bring your car to California, I still have to pay sales tax and registration. Plus I still have to ship your car to my state too. And lux tax is not very much on 44K. And since you said you are advertising it in LA, I would suggest you not try to make that argument to a California buyer. But at least you get to spam this board for free. |

Hey Prowling your putting out a bad vibe on us California Prowler owners, don't argue about buying a Kat on the discussion board, if someone wants to sell their car for a particular price thats their choice. Leave the attitude at home. If and when you buy the 2000, 2001 let us know how great it is to be an owner! Muzz |

quote: So what? We all know the prices for these things are all over the board. More power to him/her if they can get that much. All the better if they bought it for sticker. Wouldn't we all like to think our Prowler was an investment that was growing in price (in addtion to enjoyment)?? IMO, if you don't agree with the price, don't buy it but, don't slam them for their price (who knows, maybe he paid $65K for it and he's letting someone steal it from him) Trey |

quote: What's up with people selling their new yellow's all of a sudden? There is a 2000 yellow advertised in www.prowlerclub.com with only 300 miles on it that someone bought 2 weeks ago and wants to sell it now for a viper. They are asking $48.5K |

I've said it before: A car is worth what it will bring in CASH TODAY! Why would someone in Calif., buying a car from a private owner in another state, have to pay the state of Calif. a sales tax?? Can this be?? |

Like I said, he can ask whatever he wants. I guess the point is if your going to advertise your car on this board, state your price. |
