Colo Springs has Pikes Peak International Speedway, and I'm sure their must be a drag strip there or Denver, close by. Todd, Andrew - ??? I prefer the oval track to run. If I drag race again, would probably do a Dan Pena burn-out, and leave aluminum shrapnel all over the place(not meant to be funny).

Yeh, there is a drag strip close by, Bandimere speedway. On the web bandimere.com or something to that effect.

I think either would be good. Andrew will have to comment on the amenities near the Springs, but I know in Denver and surrounding burbs we have a lot.

How about Cincinnati. The new Kentucky Speedway just opened up and I have a connection that might be able to get us into the place. It is about 45 minutes from Cincinnati and there are a lot of country roads around here with pretty nice scenery. Not as nice as Colorado but a lot closer to more of the nation. I guess we need to see where most of the members live to determine what is the most convenient. Heck Austin, Texas is a pretty city also. What about Gatlinburg in the Smoky Mtns. The Blue Ridge Parkway is pretty close to that and there is plenty to do.

How about third weekend in June, this gives us a 60 day spread to relax, then also attend Woodward? Besides, this gives us Az. Prowlers a chance to twice get out of the desert heat! Comments? Larry Salzman, Az-POA

My thought is, if I can collect enough I can trade them for one of Mike's Prowlers.

Mike, I prefer the silver over black Westheimer w/ supercharger. Please have it washed and ready.......

Austin is cool and hilly. Lots of lakes. Close enough that I could truck our 23' Searay and could take all skiing or around Lake Travis (when not racing). Alot of cool restaraunts on the water too.

Fall would be nice too. Cooler on engines also.

I know Florida Keys aren't close to any of us but to see all of those kats on Seven mile highway and all that clear water would be great.
