Hello My headlight clear lens covers are dirty from the inside, not fogged up from humidity, but dirty. You can see it at night when the lights are on. Sort of looking out a dirty window. Can some fellow member tell me how to remove these clear covers and clean them..It bugs me. Thanks This message has been edited by SasyMama on 04-12-2001 at 08:22 AM |

I have the same thing,,,, Ive had the light pods off for other reasons, and I notice there are screws holding the actual light assembly onto the lenses. But I also notice there appears to be a glue or sealant around the seam that may make it almost imposible to open. The other solution is to remove the bulb fixtures themselves, which would mean allaingment afterward. Either way is not to easy, but I have water spots that I need to remove so I am going to attact it in the near future. Anyone have a easy trick please let us know. ------------------ |

I bet you could win a t-shirt with this post if everyone responded that has this problem. I too have this problem. They look great by day, but kind of a film and spotting inside the lens when on at night. Yuk! If you find a solution to this problem, let us know. I think that it may be one of those things you have to live with due to the design of the head light housing. ------------------ PROWLEN.... John (-: |

I'm waiting to replace the right front head light on the Black Tie due to condensation. I'll let everyone know what happens and if they "look" different. ------------------ |
