You will find that the upper and larger DC dealers are reluctant to discount the 2002 Chrysler prowlers now. Spoke to one of the largest in the US today, and he says that as soon as the starving dealers sell theirs at what they want or need to make, the remaining dealers feel there will be an drastic upswing in the value this spring and demand. They are holding out a bit long to make more on them when they go up. Just some tidbit news Sassy |

It might also depend on the colors that are left over....the 02 yelo Kats are selling...the gold is not... candy red is hot for now....left over Mullh's are slow at this time too...spring might bring a small flurry of higher pricing, but my money says they will be even cheaper as the color selection gets thin...I have seen a great reduction in pricing recently that I don't think will ever turn around to any significant extent... just happy to have mine ------------------ |

ps...I have a candy red coming at much less than MSRP, but I do buy a lot of cars from this dealer....some dealers are just glad to be out of the Prowler business altogether....at my age I am not banking on ever making a dime on the cars....just drive 'em and smile... ------------------ |

I feel the prices are going up! I got my Candyred below MSRP and thanks to CJ/BOB friends program I save even more. My dealer told me all over the country Candyreds are Hot, 5K-10K over MSRP. The Prowler we know is one of a kind. Theres lots of people that still dont what it is. In time and already this machine is a jewel... |

In the words of all casino managers: There is a sucker for every seat. All Prowlers in any color shade are HOT. Anyone can buy a cat at a reasonable figure if you are sharp enough to shop around, know the cost figures, be strong enough to communicate, and be able to make the deal TODAY. This is basically true for most units at a dealer's location - they are business people, present a profitable deal to them, and buy the car. They don't believe in "Be Backs",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,not to be confused with "D-Backs", as you know are the 2001 MLB World Champions from Arizona ------------------ |

what is cost on the new cats when msrp is at say 46,000? when making the best deal, iam sure that leaves the dealer a fair profit-and not a rip to the buyer, is 42,000 fair or is there more to deal with? Any body know? thanks Happy Prowlin ------------------ |

I found a Dealer in Tx that had a Gold 02' for $38k. I'm not into the Gold or I would have jumped on that! The best price I could find on a 02' Silver was $41K. Good deal but I found a 01' Silver for much less! ------------------ |

I was in Ontario CA friday night at a Chrysler dealer and I saw a Inca gold Prowler. I didn't think I would like that color. But in person, it looked real sweet! Its a real rich yellow tone down, I liked it... |

I'm not sure how this works and hope this posts. I'm looking to buy a new or used 01' or 02' Prowler for a reasonable price. I really want a Prowler (at a reasonable price). I've been looking around in the short time I have back but haven't found anything I can afford. I have a preapproved loan but not for the price most dealers want. If you have any contacts let me know quickly. Thanks, Howard |

Howard, I'm in the Air Force stationed in Oklahoma City. I'm an E-5 and I bought a Prowler. I am the self proclaimed "poorest Prowler owner". How much is you pre-approved loan for? Supposedly, you can get one for as low as $38,000 right now. But, you had better hurry. ------------------ |
