Just back from CAAP. Some news out of there. The last Prowler will not be Candy Red but will be a one of a kind electric blue. Saw pictures today from MSX where the panels are sitting - looks great. Would look even better being pulled behind my intense blue Shelby Durango. Apparently there will be a number of special features including a tan interior. Others will have pictures - hopefully they will post under this thread

Tour was great - nice to see everyone again. Tribute to the workers was a nice touch. POA presented them with a little token - Die-cast on a plaque. David, I also picked up another auto transporter in 1/43rd scale. Manufacturer is IMEX Model Company Inc. They were $20.99 and they will hold six of 1/43rd Prowlers. I will post pictures later. I would have picked one up for you but bringing it across the border and shipping it back again (and paying duty taxes didn't seem to make a lot of sense. They had a few left at Great Lakes Hobbies in Utica, MI, just east of DC headquarters. I am sure someone could pick one up for you.

No firm details on sale of last vehicle but it is likely to be a charity raffle or auction - start saving those pennies!!! ------------------ 99 Supercharged Shelby Durango |

This is a modified image I created in May of last year: Makes me wonder closely DC watches this board. Especially when the Chrysler hood badge resembles one I designed. CHRYSLER, if you are reading this now, I want my commission... I WANT MY COMMISSION!!! We can settle this peacefully right now by sending me one Candy Red Prowler. Contact me for my shipping address. • MTD Prowler Intake System 2.2 Future Mods: This message has been edited by William Gallagher on 02-09-2002 at 07:52 AM |
