Hello Everyone, Judy and I just got back home. We really enjoyed seeing everyone at CAAP, and what a great turnout we had with 85 + Prowler Enthusiasts participating in the tribute tour. We want to thank everyone that participated and especially want to thank everyone at CAAP for the warm welcome we received. Yes, the Prowler production will end with a big bang! It was announced on Friday that the final production will end with a very special car that will be painted High Voltage Blue with an anodized frame and special interior and soft top. We were told that this one of a kind car will be raffled off for charity, so that everyone can have a chance to win! It's been a long day and we're going to retire for the evening. Again, a big thank you to everyone that attended, and to ALL the really SPECIAL people at CAAP that made this possible! Everyone that attended, please keep the pictures coming! ------------------ |

More from CAAP: The POA presented the 250+ CAAP employees with a very special hand crafted model Prowler on a walnut base with a tribute plaque. Along with the models, the men and women of CAAP and everyone in attendence received a tribute CD that contained the Plant Tribute photos and My Prowler and Me pictures. ------------------ |

On previous visits to Woodward and CAAP, I was unable to see Harold Sullivans Museum, largest personal collection of Mopar muscle cars in the world if I have that correct. You can see the collection by invitation only, is not open to the public. CJ and Bob arranged for the visit this time, thank you for that. My favorite "Silver Bullet" has the reputation of having never been beat while racing on Woodward. Thanks to Harold Sullivan for letting us visit, one of his guys said he has never seen such a large crowd allowed in to visit. This is a "Silver Bullet" composite.
Note to Harold if you see this! I will volunteer as chief videographer when you get Bullet and Bullet II back on the strip! ------------------ |

I am not going to post on this thread and assist Sasquatch in his cheap, blatant attempt to get a clean T-shirt. I mean a new t-shirt but I guess that is redundant. WE missed you, big Foot. I finally got to talk a little without you there. A funny side note, we were all talking and we found out the Scot Stern's dad went to high school with MoPar Dave. Scot said his dad would be 139 if he were still alive so that puts Mopar Dave right near 140 since I am sure he failed at least once, in school. ------------------ |

Special note to Alleycat! Larry, after a long and exciting day at CAAP, and dinner at Buck Brewery, the group settled in to to watch short and long video tribute to CAAP and the Crazyhorse video from last summer. Having never been in the same room as Mohawk Moneyhan while the Deadwood video was on, it was fun watching Ed squirm as we approached the parade segment. He babbled something about being tired....he thought it was about over and we should go now...Sandy wasn't feeling well he had to go...on and on and on! He might have even mentioned something about fire! Honestly, I have not seen and heard such a large room full of people laugh so loud and so hard when Sandy was guest conducting directions to somebody, and when Ed came up on the screen in his swirling cape and tights. Honest to God I was in tears. The video holds up on its own, but don't ever miss the chance to watch it with Ed and Sandy in the audience. With that as a possibility, I will be sure to bring the video tapes to any and all events. ------------------ This message has been edited by MIKE GATLIN on 02-10-2002 at 11:42 AM |
