JD, I'm sure you told me you did the museum during Woodward. 'Silver Bullet' is so damn cool. I never spent much time around Woodward but was familiar with the legend. I asked Harold and he didn't know, but I would like to know if Bob Seger used the car for inspiration for his "Silver Bullet Band" name. He is from the area and timing would be right. After walking in the door looking at the 1st car I commented that no Chrysler muscle car ever left the factory looking that good. Harolds cars are perfect! ------------------ This message has been edited by MIKE GATLIN on 02-10-2002 at 01:49 PM |

Dave, make sure Brenda is with you so you don't "whack" the wrong guy with those OLD eyes. I would hate to see Osama Bin Laden taken out by mistake by a 140 yr. old. ------------------ |

quote: We made a small additional run of the CAAP tribute CD that includes the exclusive 9 minute long version of the CAAP tribute video put together by Mike Gatlin. This video is outstanding and so is the rest of the CD. I'll make an announcement in the next couple of days as to when these CDs will be available. The cost will be $15.00 plus $4.00 S&H. The CDs will be made available on a first come first serve basis, so stay tuned within the next few days for details on how to obtain your piece of Prowler history. Unfortunately, we did not collect enough money to cover the Tribute Tour costs and are looking for a way to recoup some of the expenses. Remember the POA site is free for all to use and the CD may be just the ticket for everyone that did not attend to show their support of the POA! ------------------ |

Mike, it is still not too late for people to simply contribute to the fund, either. Even if you did not go to CAAP you can send CJ a check to help offset the cost of the gifts to the workers. ------------------ |

1147 registered members-limited # of CD's available! Brief calculations suggest you might get your name on the list pretty soon. Anyone with any kind of a collection going has to have it. ------------------ |

As I said above, I'll reserve the #1 CAAP Tribute CD, when available for shipping!!! AND, even though its been a very lean past year for me, I'll step up and mail a donation to help the funded CAAP Tribute Tour costs. Comeon'- everybody not attending, this tribute must have cost a boatload and we can help support our website and association with a check. Who is on-deck?
