sorry to post this on the main board... but since it is such a spontaneous thing... wanted to make sure as many knew as might want to attend... so I paste my e-mail below Hey everyone, a little spontaneous cruzin in the Angeles National Forrest back country for those who are interested. We meet at my place at 8 AM, have a bite to eat, and leave for a morning and early afternoon cruise through the California mountains. California Poppies should be in order by then I think, if they had enough rain this year. We’ll end up back at my place sometime mid afternoon and either bring a pot luck dish or, we’ll order in and have them deliver. If I can get my pool heater working again in time (trying to get the guy out now) we can have an evening pool party after lunch. Let me know if your “in”.

I figure since our cars don't hold "too" much, and since we're going to be gone all morning and some o the afternoon, if you don't want to bring something, we can all order from oen or more of the local delivery places... Just a matter of how we want to go about it. Bring your swim suite(s) as I'm trying to get the pool heater back to working in time. We meet at my place at 8 AM and leave around 9 AM. If I know who is coming and it's a small group, I'll have the girls make something to eat here or we can stop for brunch on the drive (we'll figure that out as we go). I'm at 26767 Sand Canyon Road. This is 2 miles south of the 14 freeway on the right, and roughly 6 exit's north of the 5 freeway heading north on 14, or the 2nd Santa Clarita exit heading south on the 14 from Palmdale. It's the house with all the palm tree's right before the gated community. I know this is "sudden" but 5-10 Kats and we'll have a great time!

Todd, we won't get there until the late afternoon. The boys opening ceremony is at 9am and their game is 1pm so it will be after we can get them home, etc. I am guessing somewhere around 4-5pm. ------------------ |
