Dear Alleycat, Just a "brief" note to you about what really happened at Lancaster. As you probably know hosting an event, sometimes produces some no-shows and a few surprise guests. Mike (KATATAK) and Kim had a new twist to solving the logistics for this one - "SCARE" tactics. To everyone that got the letter from "Uncle" Guetoe titled - "Thanks for attending", you better thank your lucky stars you did. He was that bearded guy we always saw during the event, mostly during the covered bridges tour. I spotted him at least forty times. He was that tall "Amish" looking guy. The dead giveaway was the fedora hat. Ed and Sandy Monamish converted from the Judas Priest faith to becoming part-time Mennonites roadies.
The "eastern" block of the mafia was well represented, with RESPECT: Ray Adamski - gold kat, Steve Dymnioski - silver kat, and Sharon Dymnioski - candy kat Wayne and Hattie Nicary cleverly disguised their red Prowler as orange, it blended in with the other 20 orange ones present. Gary and Kelly Archer used the Inca Gold trick - not everyone appreciated the snobbish display of such obvious wealth. He even had gold powder on the wheels. I salvaged enough for some future mods. Be expecting a "powder" shipment soon! Bob(RebelBob) and Carol Silsby tried to confuse everyone with a silver kat the first day and an orange the second, probably to blend in. Bill (NiteMan) & (Lucy) Stephens used his now famous Nascar display shirts to confuse anyone that he owns a Prowler. Dave and Brenda Mills brought their son for comfort during the trip (Craig and his main squeeze - Tina). Dave was so scared that his hair has turned grey - what a shock. John Buehrle, not only brought his immediate family, but his sister and her family. They all were too good-looking, almost sickin' to see them. They were kinda like a travlin' Walton's episode. That constant "Good night - John-boy" This message has been edited by MeanGene on 08-12-2002 at 01:51 PM |

M/Gene - I'm glad to see everyone had a good time, even though they were playing MISSION IMPOSSIBLE by hiding their real names in favor of their screen names,,,,,which in Dave Mills case, is one in the same. I'm a little troubled with the eastern block mafia group,,,,,,,,sounded like a bunch of Polish names , not Italian like big Al from NYC. Did I mention I like people of Polish descent? I know that Silsby group will always try to fool ya, but with those side pipes open, he ain't going to fool me. Then there is Ed Moneytight,,,,,,you got him converted,,,,,,NO WAY!!! But Sandy, I can see her being converted after being with Ed for many years Bet she looked good on the horsey carriage with her long dress on. |

I wish fixxum would have shown up, then he could take most of this abuse, instead of me. MeanGene, I had no idea you were so skilled and artistic. That looks like some of my best work. lol. We had fun in spite of you guys. lol. Sandy is still chuckling about the little Amish kids getting us to blow the horns and giving us thumbs up. I guess that could have been stray cat's kids, come to think of it. |

I don't think so Ed, I am pretty sure I win in the "taking abuse" department. I think you got off easy! |
