Reba loaded up my "box" of cleaning supplies in the trailer before she left for Prowlancaster last Thursday. When she arrived Friday (I was already there) and we opened the trailer, a can of Fix a Flat had exploded and a bottle of Mag & Chrome polish had split in the side from the heat. IT WAS A MESS!!! After cleaning up everything we put the box back in the trailer and on the way home the bottle of Protectall cracked, too. I guess 100 degree temps and a black trailer were too much. Maybe I could develop an air conditioning system for the trailer. ------------------ Driving my Dream |

No problem with the yellow trailer. I had the same stuff in the trailer that you carried, Marty. |

We've had stuff leak in the trunk in the hot sun. Marty, its just what you get for having a black. I've managed to avoid stuff leaking by squeezing the air out of the bottles of stuff and closing them that way. Then they usually don't expand enough to squirt stuff out when it gets hot. ------------------ |

Case Logic makes a rectangular, fold-flat bag which is about 3' by about 16". It zips across the top, has handles and mesh pockets on the front. It also has velcro on the bottom so that it doesn't slide around trunks, etc. I bought it for the trailer and I use it to carry all my cleaning supplies, rags, and other miscellaneous items that you just might need! I carry a plastic bucket for emergency car washes and I put all my cleaners, washes, detailers, etc. inside the bucket. It fits inside the bag. If by some chance one would leak or explode, I only have a bucket to clean out! I call it CJ Logic! lol This message has been edited by CJ on 08-13-2002 at 07:42 AM |

Marty Thats not a trailer you're pulling, it an oven. Next time, just set up a rack with some dough and you'll have fresh Ky bread when you arrive at the event. ------------------ |

Gee - I try to provide a warning to others and HowlerCat, CJ, Todd....jump on the post. You all have really made RebaCat feel bad. She was the one that loaded the trailer and drove it in the not temps. Of course I would NEVER do that. I was drinking beer with MeanGene!! Just to make her feel good, I put everything back in the trailer for the return trip and left the cap on the Protectall open so some would spill out. Maybe I will paint the car and trailer pearl white - blue faded to purple flames would look good on white, too!! |
