For those of you interested ... there are suicide door kits out there, but they are very big hinges not at all designed for a Prowler. You want suicide doors - get ready for lot's of work!

hello George

Your Prowler looks mor and more like a high tech Hot Rod.
i remember you + your car from the Turkey Run 2 or 3 years ago when the Prowler was black with red pinstripes.
Like I told, the year after I bought a silver 2001.
usually I only want to drive it a year in the USA, ship it to Germay and sell it. Now, over one year later in Germany, I still have the Prowler and, I started to invest more and more in the cat. ( silver Flames on the Side, US-Police Yelp/Wail/AirHorn + Strobe set with remote, J.M. Reloc Kit,.... ) I just work on AldanEagle Hot Rod Shox for the front. I have new Konis, but I try to get a smother ride on the front axle. As next I will put BRIZ Custom Alu bumpers on the rear. I sit more in the Prowler than in my 34 Ford.
I will not visit the Turkey Run in 2004, I visited Frķends in the SF bay area this year + next year.
But some members of my car club are always at the turkey run to shop for parts and Hot Rods.

Greetings , Matthias

I'll tell ya ... Everything that has been posted about this project, from the beginning, makes all the effort worth it. My son and I talking one afternoon and the subject of all the shows that my car goes came up. Willie said " of all the shows we go to TURKEY RED RUN is the best, it's just your peers - no trophies just sincere compliments or sometimes not. This post and everyone's remarks reminded me of that. I'm a happy guy!!

George,

Want to see it outside PLEASE.

How is it to get in and out of it?

Does it feel solid when you close the door?

This is something I have thought of since getting the car

George-

The doors turned out fantastic.

I was blown away when I saw it at PTS and that was before the interior changes and the doors.

Great car, with an owner who's not afraid to try something outside the box!

AHHHHHHHHHHH George it was not that long ago when you started the engine side panel project and we spoke via e-mail and the phone and you were ready to quit, sell the car and move on. Jump forward a couple of years and look at you now the true "POA KING OF MODS". I see you got the mirror relocate done and it looks AWESOME. Thumbs up for for taking your vision to reality and not stopping when some people thought you were nuts! So what's next?

George-

I had forgot about the mirror relocation until Bob posted about it. This relocation worked out great!

I looked pretty close and noticed a stock parking brake boot (I think it was stock) and possibly a stock windshield. When are those to be changed? LOL!

That's one more awesome ride!

The parking brake boot is Kameleon to match the steering wheel and the flames. The mirrors are going to be relocated (again) and at that point, we'll paint the windshield frame. Oh boy more paint!! Hopefully the hardtop will be here soon and it can all happen at the same time. More picture at that time.
