Congratulations CJ on a truly memorable anniversary!!! That must have been so cool picking it up at the CAAP. You must have been so excited. The color and mods on your Candy look great!
My question with the Candy is...small rock chips...are they easy to touch up? I know with other Candy colors it is next to impossible to match it perfectly.
Anyway...I hope you and everyone that is part of this wonderful site has a great day!!!

Congrads! Now you need to buy a Viper. Ton's of Regional Viper Events around the country. The NY/CT Club must have a few dozen things lined up already! You would love the Viper Owners Invitationals every 2 years, 600-800 Owners! Prowler Owners are the best, but There are 10 times as many Viper Events to look forward to. I know how much you love to race your Kat. I'll be racing at Englishtown and Pocono and possibly Lime Rock this year! I met Tammi Fisher at VOI#8 this year in Texas I'm sure she will agree. A average NY/CT Viper event has 30-40 Snakes. Thats a lot for a big Prowler Event. My Candy's 2nd birthday was last Nov.

CJ - did you have your pick of any Candy Cat that day or was it THE one made for you?

Marty,

It was built for her. The Monroney label had her name on it. Her's was the second of two Prowlers delivered by CAAP. The other was a '97 to Keith Crain.

March '02:

Now:

Doesn't seem like that long ago...

Got mine out on Saturday. We had a unseasonably warm weekend so went Prowlin' and got in a round of golf(!). Not bad for Kentucky in February!

The day after I picked up my cat, Feb. 8 was the day of the CAAP Tribute that I arranged and the POA hosted. 80 POA members drove in and flew in for this event.

One week later, on February 15, 2002, the last of the cats rolled off the line.

Mike and Judy Krehel and I were there that entire week watching the last of the cars being built, including the High Voltage Blue. It was an honor to be part of it....but sad, also. A week that I know I will never forget.

forget.

A day Linda and I will never ever forget. Lots of tears all around on that day. I got really choked up as we shook the hand of every worker as they passed us to pick up their tokens of appreciation presented by the POA. Something most people would never get a chance to do in thier lifetime. We drove up from Georgia , but even if I would have had to walk, I would not have missed it for anything.
Have the changed the sign out front or does it still say Viper / Prowler?
