...they take up a lot of space and I am looking at another car this week.....it's just something else to stumble around in the garage... ...guess I could store some of my yard sh!t inside it(yard tools and grass seed), then chain it to a tree in my backyard, I got hundreds of trees.... |

We used it for the PTS event and once to Texas. Thats twice in two years. But I wouldn't give it up unless I sold the kat. I usually take it out for a short trip once a month. This message has been edited by Lone Ranger on 06-13-2005 at 12:14 AM |

I've had my trailer about two years and have used it 5-6 times...a couple of times for golf clubs and mostly for car shows (folks sure like seeing it!)... I will probably keep mine as long as the Kat... |

While we all draw attention to ourselves when we drive our kats, I really seem to get more thumbs up when I am pulling the trailer. They really look good together. |

I never thought about using it to haul golf clubs. Sandy took a group golf lesson last week and decided she wants to start playing and maybe take more lessons. It is hard to take her and two sets of clubs on the m/c. We have only used the trailer a couple of times. I never consider taking it to car shows or parades since they are usually already crowded and space is at a premium. I swore I would never pay that much for a trailer I would hardly ever use and then wound up with two of them. I sold one to Steve Clark for half price (inside joke). I don't think we have ever used the Candy cat since I towed it home from Detroit. It will be going to the Dells (unless we take the bike). lol |

I pull my trailer most of the time. I even take it to local events. Brenda never learned to travel light. |

I like to take when we cruise the weekends. It is part of the package after all. When we are going out for an evening cruise & Carol says "while we're out, can I stop at the store & pick up a couple of things", I know I better hook up the trailer FIRST. Her idea of a few things is vastly different from mine. Yes to car shows that allow the Prowler. This message has been edited by Ed W. on 06-13-2005 at 06:54 AM |

I use my trailer on the Prowler events that I drive to. Just got back from Hot Rod Power Tour and towed it 3487 miles! I'm not into car shows much, so I don't do that. I've also been known to take it to Sam's and the garden nursery! |

Larry, as you know I pull my trail a lot. I would suggest getting a Larry Lord trailer stand and stand it up against the wall and there it is until you and cookie are going on a trip and then she will have room for her daily supply of twinkies. The only problem you would have is what color to leave it. GOLD (no more gold car), Candy Red or Yellow (you will wear the car out before you pull it). We were thinking last weekend on the Powertour that our trailer has about 12,000, about 50% of the miles on the car. When you were at the house looking at the dart mine was standing up in the garage. For you as a daily driver you might find some other uses like hauling all your cash around. My Opinion..............KEEP IT |

I pull mine nearly every time I take the car out. I keep all my car show stuff in it, cleaning kit, chairs, 8x8 canopy, vacuum and other stuff! I have two extras now, a red and a yellow, for future Kat purchases. I think the trailer has been my best mod investment. I know I easily have 8,000 miles on the Mulholland trailer. |

I use mine for every car show I attend. I have an extensive display that I have stored in the trailed along with product displays. There's 2 8x12 e-z up tents with alum.2'x4' plates that go under each wheel of the kat and the vert. poles of the tents and be bolted to them making the car into a giant sandbag to hold the tents in place in any wind. There are plaques on the front of the display showing general info about Prowlers on one and specific things that I've done to mine on the other. There's a cutaway view of the frame with all the running gear on another plaque and then I have a fold down display of all my dash plaques over the past 5 years. I have folding chairs and even a side out add on for the tents if it's needed. All of this (and more) fits CAREFULLY into the trailer. It's quite a traveling show!! It takes about an hour to set it all up but it's really worth it. I just added a front 2'x6' banner with the word Prowler and the kat all in orig. script. VERY NICE!! I have a blast talking to people at shows, dispelling rumors, correcting misinformation that a lot of people have and even some polite arguments(dicissions to supply facts to the misinformed). I do about a dozen shows a year so the trailer gets a workout. I've upgraded it (along with several others I've done) so I don't have trouble with the latch system and there's a trapdoor in the bottom just in case I ever have problems with the lock or latch. I've added lites inside and I have rerouted the wiring harness so it ins't on the floor anymore. The hardware that holds the frame on the floor is now flat. None of the fasteners stick up under the carpet. I also have forged s.s. eve loops on the floor at each corner so I can tie down the large items(e-z up's etc.)onto the floor so they cant fly up and down inside the trailer as you pull it down the road. The license plate surround reads "free wheeling" this was the 2'd slogan of the Plymouth motor car in 1931 when they put a Sprague gear in the trans so the car would free wheel down the road when your foot was not on the accelerator-'cus of gas being so expensive in the depression(I think it was about 5 cents per gallon(what an outrageous price)By the way my Kat's license plate surround reads "Floating power" which was the first slogan of the Plymouths motor car in 1929 when they started building them 'cus they were the first car to bring rubber motor and Trans. mounts to the engine mounting points at the frame. Here I go again with one of these long winded stories-O'well I'm retired!! Have fun out there and I hope I helped, Obi-Wan |

I pull it to nearly every car show and even most crusie nights. I have in it all my cleaning supplies. A 10 X 10 Canopy, Camping Chairs. A door mirror to display the under carriage and drink cooler and tosn of other stuff. Its been pulled to Woodward twice, Utah, Louisville twice, Cruising the Coast once, Mobile AL, Daytona beach and just recently Charleston SC. When I don't takje people ask me where it is. I even have neon under the trailer to match the Prowler. Our kat has 31,000 plus miles and I am sure the trailer has in excess of 20,000 miles.
