![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ok, I have sat back long enough to check out the posts on this subject. All Prowlers on the center SPEEDO has a arrow pointing to the passenger side that says Fuel Fill check your car out you can't miss it. Look before you pull in to not be embarrassed when filling up with the wrong side sally shuffle. onecatnodog |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() same/but different question.... WHY is the trunk release button on the driver side, but the release 'bar' for the convertible top/air patrol located behind the passenger seat? across and back every time the top goes up and down... seems kinda silly/poor planning...

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Geno, you have to go to the passenger side to secure the top in the trunk or to snap in the pins so you have to go over there everytime, anyway. But I do agree with you. I get aggravated that the doors automatically lock. I leave the keys in the ignition in the garage and then I try to open the passenger door and it is locked and I have to go around to hit the release button or get the key fob. At my age, every step counts, too. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have never really been sure why different vehicle lines install the fuel fill on one side vs. another. On a side note, under your speedometer, you will notice a 'fuel arrow' pointing to the passenger side as a reminder. It should have been placed on the fuel gage itself, but such is life! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I've been pondering that question for a long time also.....and still get confused at the gas station every time! Nothing like waiting in line for gas(when the price drops)just to realize you're on the wrong side of the pump! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have pulled up to the wrong side several times in my Prowler. I now have it in mind when I pull up to a dispenser. As a side note - The filler is on the left side of my Chevy Tahoe and the same on my wife's Mercedes ML (SUV). I was just out at an office park and noticed that a high % of fillers are on the driver's side. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well I for one have never owned a car with it on the driver's side so it works for me. Another oddity that I like about the prowler is that the side mirrors come off the doors on stalks. This paired with the thin windshield frame help me with visibility. This is the same setup as my challenger which I miss in most new cars. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I discovered this awhile back.. you guys are going to love me for posting this! All the newer cars tell you which side the gas cap is on. I bet you never noticed... I didn't till the other day. I found this picture on Google.. look on the speedometer - it says Fuel Fill with an arrow pointing to the passengers side! Older cars don't have it but all the newer cars I have seen tell you which side the gas cap is on! How cool is that?! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My Prowlers and the PT have the gas cap on the passenger side. Makes no difference to me.......... ![]() I thought everyone knew about the little gas pump icon on your speedometer indicating which side the gas cap was on... |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I think it's quite obvious why it's on the passenger side. This makes you get out and walk around to the other side of the car every time you fuel up so that you can admire your kat from different angles! ![]()
ooorrr... So you could stay seated looking cool while you told the passenger"your closer". This message has been edited by MDProwler on 11-07-2005 at 09:24 PM |
