We are hoping to have some new t-shirts in the Prowler store soon. Possibly even replicas of some of the old ones. We are working with a vendor to see if this can be done. We will keep you updated. |

... rather than repoducing the 'old' and now 'classic' designs, can't we be creative and print new styles to make us want to buy more?? Just a thought .... am sure Ransom would want the 'value' of his original T-shirt collection to be maintained ... as would I. |

Okay, Ray....we can easily abandon this idea. The ones we were trying to do were not the "old" classics.....just some of the ones DC has done in the past and sold at the plant. We mistakenly thought that some of the "newer" owners would appreciate a chance to have some of the other designs. Neither Phil nor I are artists. We are not capable of designing t-shirts nor do we have the money to have a design artist to come up with ideas. Perhaps if you are more "creative" you could take on this project? Everyone likes to give their opinion about what we should do, but I don't ever see anyone offering to help with the store. |

These aren't official DC shirts, if they were they would be more pricey, but they are nice for $14.95.. http://www.choiceshirts.com/dept/c1/animal_t-shirts/c2/panthers_t-shirts/

Geeze, CJ ... shouldn't take 'comments' so personally .. do whatever ... the suggestion was to come up with something new ... as opposed to rehashing the same ole same ole, that was all ... but I guess shirts are like the current car makers, no new ideas, so they just re-do what's already been done. For the new stuff, I guess Dan and ProwlerExcitement is it then ... Hey, just as an after thought, why not get DC to allow you guys re-release the puddle prowler "series" too then ... that way all of us that couldn't afford the ones that have bid up so high can get one or two of them too ... as long as the POA store is looking for sale-able ideas. |

CJ. Myself and many others would like for you to persue the idea of reproducing some of the classic shirts. Several of my favorites are showing some age and would love to have the opportuinity to replace them. Keep up your very good appreciated work. |

quote: Now that you mention it, I actually talked to the company who did those for DC when we were looking for ideas for the CAAP tribute. They could actually be re-done. It was a bit too pricey for the CAAP tribute, but I actually thought about doing one specifically for POA. Any interest? With regard to the t-shirts....again...I'm not an artist, but if anyone out there, including you, have any designs or ideas, we would welcome any of them. |

I would also like to see some of the designs reproduced. CJ, I would also be willing to offer up some of my designs for T shirts. However as you know most of mine are car-toon style and not every one likes them. I would not charge the POA store for my designs. However I could work on some other styles. I would assume that since they would be offered through the POA store I would not be violating any copyrights, using logo's and images etc. I think a POA Puddle is an awesome idea. Also a 1/64 diecast matchbox with POA logo's would be awesome. But I imagine you would need to have a quantity commitment first. This message has been edited by BeWare on 02-26-2006 at 11:46 AM |

Hey Rich, I for one would love to own tshirts with your prowler toons. I do not need any pre-order limit to make shirts. We would only need to work on getting 300 dpi 4500X4500 image designs on your toons. As you know I know a little about graphics. If you want to chat about it, email me and we can come up with something for the POA members. I apologize for my tshirt page being down. I've been tied up with other action items. I will work on getting my tshirt site back up.

quote: I completely agree with Ray. I am sure "vetern members" of the POA clearly out number the new members and thus we should create something completely new for eveyone's benefit. Not to slight any new members, but why produce the old designs for a select few. I am constantly looking for a new Prowler t-shirt that I do not have. Apparently I have them all. I have enjoyed Dan's designs and have purchased a few of them; but in all candor their really not that exciting (a Prowler on a shirt with nothing in the backround)like the ones we used to be able to purchase form CAAP; "Prowler at a diner," "Prowler at a gas station," "Are you ready for a hot summer night," etc, etc. A t-shirt with a Prowler incorporated into a theme or some background scenery like previously mentioned. (Not familiar with the "puddle Prowler" t-shirt.) |
