Can someone tell me what speakers fit in doors(not orginal). We had car out last evening and right speaker begin making a noise and about 10 minutes later the left speaker went out with a bussing and cracking noise.More so when more bass was added. If someone has a part #of a regular speaker since I am not into a lot of quality sound or loud out put just a clear sound. If no part # what size is speaker and is it round or oval shaped. Thanks

OEM part # 4815360. Same speaker for either door. You should be able to buy them from one of our POA Dealers that gives 40% off list for around $50.00 ea. Good luck, Buddy.

My left door speaker went out last year. Rather than installing a speaker that would fail again, I went to Car-Toys and had them install Infinities. I was able to eyeball the installation and it was less than $200 for everything. (I hate taking off door panels.)

Good luck.

Stock doesn't impress me, they didn't last in either Kat. But I'm still a few weeks away from that project!

I would avoid replacing with OEM speakers #4815360. I bought a pair about two years ago and the foam was already partially rotted right out of the box!

I just recently bought 4 pairs of the Infinity Kappa 63.7 speakers for $129 per pair from Etronics.com and am very satisfied. http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?stk_code=inf637i&svbname=293

The Infinity Kappa 63.5 speakers are no longer made and the 63.7 are the suggested replacements. They were very easy to install thanks to Pumpkins instructions http://www.zianet.com/Sllover/page60a24.html

The Focals are 100KP 4" comps and 165KP 6"comp with paired tweeters for the rear 100KPs. Im pairing them with an Alpine cda-9856 iPod head unit and Alpine MRV-F545 amplifier. I am putting dynamat on all surfaces including doors, floor, rear wall and speaker enclosures to add control to the bass and add to midrange clarity. This setup should also allow me to use all the sterring wheel controls with the right adapter.
Its a little more than i wanted to spend, but it sounds better than anything else ive listend to so far. the website to the comapny is www.focal.tm.fr/ there are a lot of USA distributors if you look in any current car audio magazine youll find a lot of them going in the cars. just my 2cents.
