I know that I should not be, but I am still somewhat amazed at how many very low mileage Prowlers there are.
For example there are 19 on Ebay right now. Of the 19 , 12 have less than 10,000 miles on them as follows.

1997-5033 miles approx 559 miles @ year
1999-5400 miles approx 771 miles @ year
1999-6186 miles approx 883 miles @ year
2000-4560 miles approx 1149 miles @ year
2000-6082 miles approx 1520 miles @ year
2000-7883 miles approx 1970 miles @ year
2000-9000 miles approx 2250 miles @ year
2001- 217 miles approx 43 miles @ year
2001-2138 miles approx 427 miles @ year
2001-7016 miles approx 1403 miles @ year
2002-3950 miles approx 987 miles @ year
2002-6000 miles approx 1500 miles @ year

Two others have just over 10,000 miles

2000-10298 miles approx 1716 miles @ year
2002-10600 miles approx 2650 miles @ year

Now our Prowler is not what I would consider to be high mileage by any stretch of the imagination.. However when we purchased it, we planned on putting around 5000 miles a year. This is very close to what we have done to date.

Our 1999's Mileage = 34000 miles approx 4857 miles @ year

I put not many miles on my one, since I own it in 2003.
The Prowler is a toy to me, not a daily or frequent driver.
I put on my Bike, since I bought in 1979", 6500 miles on.

Yes, but how many miles have you put on the Tangelo? And I remember an Orange Prowler sitting outside the Homstead Hotel in February 2002 covered in snow. I'll bet you put a lot of miles on that one too. I understand there are reasons for low mileage cars ,such as people as yourself with many cars to choose from to have fun with. If I had several Prowlers to choose from I would likely have one very low mileage Prowler as well.

.....and this is one reason the Prowlers will have a tough time appreciating in value to a great extent. Most Prowlers are in immaculate condition with low miles

I put 16,000 on the Mulholland in just over four years!

The Purple has only had 250 in the four months I have owned her.

Rich....ya got me there....

...Tangelo kat turned 9k miles yesterday (I have put 7K on it myself)....I probably have had more fun with the Tangelo Kat and the '01 Orange Kat than any others simply because I drove them ALOT, even in the snow

Kat #1... 5K miles....Blk 99
...first Kat and great fun...waxed it to death
Kat #2... 4K miles....Silv 2000
...drove it across 6 states in a blizzard to get it home
Kat #3... 300 miles...Blk 2000
...Kat is in England now, wanted a Yelo Kat
Kat #4... 4k miles....Yelo 2000
...drove it a bunch for a few months, Kat is in Australia I heard...
Kat #5...200 miles....Yelo 2000
...still have it, intend to keep it flawless for the next generation...doubt it will ever see 300 miles on it....EVER !!!
Kat #6...235 miles...01 Mulh.
...didn't like it after it was delivered, sold it
Kat #7...28K miles...01 Orange
...drove it thru 2 winters almost everyday, snow, ice, salt, what ever came my way...
Kat #8...1300 miles...Kandi Kat
...still own it...drove it to a POA event in Tennesee a few years ago, been parked since...not my favorite Kat either
Kat #9...9K miles....02 Gold/Tangelo Kat
...fun changing the color, drive it quite a bit...probably my favorite Kat of all because of the color...

a little over 52K miles on the various kats....still not alot, I just don't go very far at a time I guess

...I remember being about the only person to drive a Kat to that POA thing in the snow that year....nothing like a "BEATER KAT"....all in all, I enjoy driving them daily most of the time, but I also like a perfect specimen to look at....it's a sickness I guess
