PharmKat Prowler Junkie From:Fort Worth, TX USA Registered: May 2005 Admin Use	posted 10-11-2006 07:05 PM My brother in law took in a prowler as a trade in at his dealership last week. It is a clean, 5000 mile black Kat, I think a 2000 model. Get this, the owner couldn't figure out how to mount the front plate, so he screwed it into the nose with 3 wood screws!!! PLEASE tell me this wasn't a POA member. Scott

The Kat I bought in 2004 was from Texas and when it arrived, it too had the front plates screwed in with #10 panhead wood screws into the left bumper. How could someone do that???? Yes, Wally, as a matter of fact, most of us are blonde and damn proud of it. Unfortunately, it's state law here and alot of the dealerships went ahead and just installed the front plate mount into the front bumpers with the kit from the dealers. When I purchased mine, the kit wasn't on, then when I picked it up they had screwed the plate hanger into the front bumper. As Tom says, he and I just put plugs into the holes that you can get at any Home Depot in black and you really couldn't notice it. I took my front bumpers off, so no big deal for me, but I know Tom has kept both of his stock. And, Wally, look forward to meeting you at an event. Tami
